Thorkell is a well travelled Saxon, having fought in numerous campaigns for different chieftains throughout his military career. He has a fairly mercenary sense of fealty, but he prides himself that he didn’t fight on the side of anyone who was a genuine villain. Retired from combat now, Thorkell mans the forge in Much Stoatley, providing simple combat gear such as spears and arrowheads to the militias, and always has work available for adventurers looking to supplement their loot.
