The Jabberwock is a degenerate relative of the dragons and wyverns that once inhabited Wales and England in great numbers. It is a fantastically ugly and brutal creature that makes its den in the most dismal and foetid woods that it can find, enjoying desolation and stench. From there it ranges out to terrorize human settlements, feasting of the flesh of men, women and children.
